After all, the franchise jumpstarted or revitalized the careers of many actors so far. In fact, some notable names from the MCU are already batting each other for next year’s Golden Globe Awards.
The likes of Mark Ruffalo, Chris Evans, Scarlett Johansson, Robert Downey Jr. and many more names have either become megastars thanks to the franchise or had their careers seen a major uplift after joining Marvel, one way or the other.
Marvel Stars Are Battling Each Other For The Prestigious 2024 Golden Globe Awards
The Golden Globe Awards will be taking place on 7 January 2024 and fans are definitely hyped about the ceremony already. After all, many fans want their favorite actors and films to win big at the Golden Globes next year.
According to the Hollywood Reporter, quite a few big names are nominated for a wide variety of categories. This includes the prestigious Best Performance by an Actor in a Supporting Role in Any Motion Picture. The names nominated for this particular category included quite a few Marvel stars. The names include Willem Dafoe, Robert De Niro, Robert Downey Jr., Ryan Gosling, Charles Melton and finally Mark Ruffalo. In case you did not know, Willem Dafoe portrayed The Green Goblin in the Spider-Man movies, Robert Downey Jr. portrayed Iron Man and finally, Mark Ruffalo acted as The Hulk in the MCU.

What Films Did The MCU Stars Get Nominated For?
As noted above, Willem Dafoe, Robert Downey Jr. and Mark Ruffalo are battling each other for a Golden Globe Award next year. For those who are not informed, the three actors have been nominated for excellent performances in some amazing films.
Robert Downey Jr. is nominated for his role as Andrew Strauss in Oppenheimer. On the other hand, Willem Dafoe has been nominated for his role as Dr. Godwin Baxter in Poor Things. Coincidentally, even Mark Ruffalo received the nomination for his portrayal of Duncan Wedderburn in Poor Things. Only time will tell whether either of the three MCU actors will end up bagging the Golden Globe Award next year.
