Pedro Pascal’s The Mandalorian S3 Left Behind Ming-Na Wen

The Mandalorian tells the tale of a lone country hunter from the planet Mandalore, while Star Wars have rocked the world with its unique movie and ideas, it was time for them to step into the TV show and they are producing shows that are just first class. This show laid a very strong ground base for the expansion of the franchise, but while the first two seasons were absolutely booming, lately the third season has not been able to produce such an effect in the industry.

But as usual, Pedro Pascal‘s performance was absolutely stunning, a 10/10, and fans were satisfied with his performance but not the overall production was a bit disappointing. Moreover, fans have felt the absence of Ming-Na Wen’s character, Fennec Shand during the entire season which led to a further negative response.

“Sometimes when you take something out of context, it sounds worse than it is. I think we love our characters so much, that any time we can reprise and be that character – especially someone like me, right, Fennec Shand is my dream role – so of course you’re gonna feel disappointed. Like, ‘Why didn’t they have me put on my outfit and get into the battle with everyone?’

So I think that’s sort of the disappointment, but at the same time we both totally understand and respect Jon Favreau, Dave Filoni’s process and what they need to do in their storytelling. So it’s just – yeah, we’re greedy. I know I am, I would love to be in every single Star Wars project at this point from now on!”

During an interview with The Movie Dweeb on YouTube, the actress shared that she felt very sad when the third season of The Mandalorian did not have her in the cast. Ming-Na Wen continued that Fennec Shand was her dream role and she would have done anything to put on the suit again. Moreover, she went on to add that she would have been happy even if she had a small part in the battle. But everyone on set and in the franchise respected Jon Favreau‘s decision, after all, he has done some miraculous work in multiple billion-dollar franchises, especially the MCU.
