Marvel Contest of Champions is celebrating October with a freakishly stylish new update that brings in new characters, including the theme-fitting Morbius and a highlight over fan favourites like Man-Thing, Blade and Ela Bloostone. The event is scattered across October, with different rewards and in-game stories to explore.
Kabam’s highly popular fighting arena hosts millions of players who get to show off their mettle as epic Marvel characters going against one another. With Champions of the Damned, the stakes just got higher and Halloween couldn’t have a better roster of anti-heroes and villains that follow.
Players can witness Werewolf By Night on October 12, and Morbius on October 26th.

Are they willing to hone their skills enough to expose the truth behind what’s going on? After all, they will be tasked with a rescue mission that simultaneously uncovers certain truths no one was ready for.
The new update also brings bug fixes and balance updates, along with Halloween-themed events like Blood Moon, My Little Symbiote and more. You can read more of the release notes on Kabam’s official page.

Contest of Champions – More About Werewolf by Night and Morbius
The two dreadful forces of nature go against each other, giving us two powerful personalities that arrive at the game straight from Marvel’s large universe. Take a look at Jack Russell, a troubled individual who inherited the recuse of lycanthropy when he turned into an adult. As he tried to understand his off-beat nature a bit better, Jack evolved his werewolf alter-ego. His life hasn’t been an easy one – often chased by bounty and beast hunters, hiding from the law and crossing paths with psychopaths.
He has to go against the laws of nature too – fighting and clawing his way against those who try to gain power over him. As he grew, so did his alter-ego, eventually transforming into the Werewolf By Night at will, often during a night of the full moon.

Not too far from a similar character arc, a genius scientist, Dr Michael Morbius, tries to mutate himself with a specific kind of DNA that lets him turn into a pseudo-vampire. This bat DNA was supposed to cure a rare blood disease, but instead, turned him into something that doesn’t shy away from thrilling bloodlust and unfamiliar monstrosity. In the present time, he needs to keep fighting an uphill battle to win against his horrifying desire for blood – the only way he can sustain his morbid nature.
These two menacing individuals enter the world of Marvel Contest of Champions soon. Players can expect to meet Werewolf by Night on October 12, and Morbius on October 26. While they wait, players can catch up on The Battlerealm which gives an insight into character Deep Dive and Special Moves content, carefully curated by the official Marvel Contest of Champions YouTube channel.
