Captain America 4 Has Been Delayed For This Reason

Marvel Studios delayed Captain America: Brave New World, which was slated for July 26, 2024, but will now be released on February 14, 2025. The reason for this delay is the film is going to have multiple reshoots as it “did not do great” in an early test screening, according to industry insider Jeff Sneider.

Three sequences are being cut and reshoots are being planned from January until May or June [of 2024],” Sneider said.

The studio felt that the action sequences in Captain America 4 were not as satisfying as the previous films. What The Winter Soldier has shown, is seen lacking in this one.
