Chris Hemsworth’s wife, Elsa Pataky, popular for her role as Officer Elena Neves in the Fast and Furious franchise has made her presence in her husband’s Thor franchise on several occasions. The actor has made three cameos in the franchise making those some of the most entertaining cameos in the MCU ever.

Pataky first appeared in Thor: The Dark World, but not as a cameo rather she briefly played Natalie Portman’s character, Jane Foster. Playing one of the Sakaaran nurses attending Thor’s injuries after his fight with the Hulk, the actor made her second appearance in the 2017 film, Thor: Ragnarök. Later, she played the lover interest of the God of Thunder during his galactic adventure in Thor: Love and Thunder. Pataky as Wolf Woman rides a giant wolf with Thor in the montage where she appeared.

It was not just Pataky, Thor: Love and Thunder have almost become a family film after casting the family members of the primary characters and the director.  “They really wanted to be in it. Taika had his children in there. Christian Bale had his. Natalie had her kids, as well,” Hemsworth told Kevin McCarthy.

“It was really cool,” the Thor actor said of filming the movie with family. It was a “fun, one-off family experience.”

Back to Pataky, out of all her Thor appearances, one has created an instantaneous buzz and that was her appearance in Thor: The Dark World.

Natalie Portman’s character Jane Foster appeared in the post-credit scene of Thor: The Dark World sharing a steamy kiss with the God of Thunder. However, to the surprise of the fans, it was not Portman. Hemsworth’s wife, Pataky became the stunt double kissing the actor in the scene as Foster.

As per reports, Portman was unavailable to shoot the scene due to her scheduling conflicts with other projects. “It was such a perfect solution, wasn’t it,” Portman told Daily News.

“It was for reshoots and he was working in Hong Kong and I couldn’t get there because I was working on my own film. And so they put his wife in my wig and costume, that’s why it was so passionate.”

The special stunt double worked as the makers used tricky camera angles and edits to make it look like Portman’s Foster in the passionate kiss with Thor’s mortal girlfriend.

Hemsworth, 39, and Pataky, 46, are married since 2010 and share three children together, daughter India Rose Hemsworth and twin sons Sasha Hemsworth and Tristan Hemsworth.
