Now, these two iconic ’80s brands joined hands before in comic books, but this would mark their first big-screen appearance. What’s crystal clear from Paramount’s CinemaCon pitch is that they’re dead set on squeezing every drop of juice from one of their biggest IP fruit.
It is only natural looking at the cash, as well as the demand, Transformers and G.I. Joe movies collectively have raked in a staggering $6 billion globally. Thus, it can be said that the crossover is for sure good news for the studio as much as it is for the fans!

Joes in here.’ The fans want a lot of things; if we do it and we don’t figure it out well, they’re going to be disappointed. It took us a while to figure out the Maximals, and now we have the hint of how to begin the Joes story.
