The death of the mad titan Thanos in Avengers: Endgame has ended up spawning much greater threats and foes for the superheroes of Earth. Coming up in the roster of villains right now is Jonathan Majors’s Kang The Conqueror, as well as the cosmic entity called Beyonder who plans on a huge grand event in the Marvel Cinematic Universe.
In all these battles it is quite obvious that the Avengers will be requiring the help of a familiar face, Spider-Man! The web-slinging hero, who is portrayed by Tom Holland in the MCU movies, wrapped up his MCU contract with No Way Home but he might very well be making a comeback with rumors suggesting an agreement between Marvel and Sony.

Marvel Reportedly Have An Agreement With Sony Over Spider-Man
Just when you thought he was out, Marvel pulled him back in(maybe). Tom Holland had his emotional goodbye to fans of Spider-Man with the release of Spider-Man: No Way Home, which saw everyone’s dream of seeing all three Spider-Men of the 2000s come together in one single movie.
The movie did gross in the billions, making sure it was a commercial success and a box-office hit. This reason alone should be a pretty big factor for Sony to allow Marvel to continue developing movies canon to the MCU, and it might just have been.

According to reports from Beyond The Trailer creator/host Grace Randolph, an agreement between Sony and Disney over a Spider-Man deal is nearing completion. What’s much more interesting is that they are also willing to re-recruit the current face of Spider-Man, Tom Holland, for the upcoming movies – Avengers: The Kang Dynasty & Avengers: Secret Wars.

Fans may find this news quite amusing, Tom Holland’s return was not one that a lot of people expected. But if the deal comes to a close, every fan would love to see the British actor back on the big screens as Peter Parker for sure.

Marvel & Sony’s Spider-Man Deal Excites Fans
Just like how Tobey Maguire made his mark in the 2000s as THE actor who played Spider-Man, Tom Holland has done his part in successfully replicating that legacy.
It’s no doubt that the MCU’s Spider-Man movies have been one of its most successful theatrical releases, with the most recent No Way Home being a prime example as it earned about $1.9 billion at the box office.
