Marvel Studios announced their plans for an original series about Daredevil which will see Charlie Cox reprising his role in the titular character during last year’s SDCC. Daredevil is a classic series that originally came out in 2015 on Netflix in collaboration with Marvel Studios. The series was also the first Marvel Netflix series that paved the way for multiple other shows on the popular streaming platform like Jessica Jones, Luke Cage, The Punisher, Iron Fist, and eventually a crossover project, The Defenders.

However, not all the actors from the original series will be back in the new series, and that has disappointed a lot of fans.

Deborah Ann Woll won’t be reprising her role as Karen Page in the upcoming Daredevil series

Deborah Ann Woll was recently attending ICCCon in Nashville, Tennessee when she was asked in the Q&A session if she would be switching sides from Marvel and joining DCEU. The actress replied that she does not even know if switching between the universes is allowed or not.

“I don’t know—do they let us do that? Am I allowed to cross the streams. I feel like that would be very dangerous… Yea, there’s a few people who can do it, but I don’t know if I’m one of those lucky few. I don’t know about DC.”

However, Woll went on to break the heart of Daredevil fans as she revealed that she allegedly has no plans to be cast in “either side of the comic book universe“. She said,
