Marvel Studios announced their plans for an original series about Daredevil which will see Charlie Cox reprising his role in the titular character during last year’s SDCC. Daredevil is a classic series that originally came out in 2015 on Netflix in collaboration with Marvel Studios. However, not all the actors from the original series will be back in the new series, and that has disappointed a lot of fans.

Deborah Ann Woll won’t be reprising her role as Karen Page in the upcoming Daredevil series

Deborah Ann Woll was recently attending ICCCon in Nashville, Tennessee when she was asked in the Q&A session if she would be switching sides from Marvel and joining DCEU. The actress replied that she does not even know if switching between the universes is allowed or not.

“I don’t know—do they let us do that? Am I allowed to cross the streams. I feel like that would be very dangerous… Yea, there’s a few people who can do it, but I don’t know if I’m one of those lucky few. I don’t know about DC.”

However, Woll went on to break the heart of Daredevil fans as she revealed that she allegedly has no plans to be cast in “either side of the comic book universe“. She said,

Fans react to the announcement of the Daredevil: Born Again series

Marvel Studios recently took to Twitter to announce their new series, Daredevil: Born Again. Although most of the fans were excited to see Charlie Cox reprise his role as Matt Murdock, some of the fans were also quite disappointed with the announcement.

One user wrote that Marvel is allegedly going to ruin Daredevil, “with sh**ty quips and terrible writing.

Another user mentioned that they are really tired of Marvel keeping it light-hearted and comedic all the time and want the old “gore, gritty style, and serious tone” that the original Daredevil series had.

However, only some fans were disappointed with the announcement of a new Daredevil series, most of the fans are excited for the new series and shared the same on Twitter.

Fans are absolutely thrilled to see Charlie Cox as the Daredevil once again.
