As per Forbes, the last sequel is going to be extra special as Disney confirmed that it has spent $294.7 million on making the fifth part of the famous franchise. It is their generous effort to entice the fans by getting them to theatres.

With this budget, the film is revelated to become the most expensive Lucasfilm movie ever surpassing Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker and Solo: A Star Wars Story.

The franchise has always garnered fans’ attention with its plots and storylines. Not just that, every element in the film series has complemented each other which is one of the reasons why it is still a successful project.

While the fifth installment will now be gambling to cross the input investment, the fourth film, Indiana Jones and the Kingdom of the Crystal Skull was a commercially successful film. It grossed $790 million worldwide with a production budget of $185 million.

Though it received mixed responses from the audience, it surely won the critics’ hearts for its cast, action sequences, and storyline among several other elements. For the last installment to become successful and cross the production budget, it would need to gross nearly $1 billion to produce a reasonable profit.

While Indiana Jones 4 is available on Amazon Prime Video, the fifth film is scheduled for release on June 30, 2023.
