The story captures his journey from being a brat with no manners and hated by everyone to becoming the embodiment of power in the Shinobi world and acquiring everything he once dreamed of as a kid.
Masashi Kishimoto also managed to pen one of the greatest anime antagonists ever, Madara Uchiha. He became so well-known among the audience that many were okay with him winning the war and killing everyone. However, the author of the series had some other plans for Madara, as he was killed by Kaguya. According to a theory, Masashi Kishimoto ended up making Madara so powerful that he had to resort to adding aliens to the story to defeat the Ghost of Uchiha.
Kaguya was added because Masashi Kishimoto was unable to kill off Madara Uchiha
If you have ever watched anime, you have surely heard about Masashi Kishimoto’s magnum opus, Naruto, which is one of the most globally known anime and manga franchises. The series has contributed immensely to increasing the popularity of the anime medium globally.
It comprises over 700 episodes, which might initially seem like a lot, but once you join Naruto on his journey and see him develop, you will wish the series had more episodes. The journey of Naruto Uzumaki from a child to a Shinobi who stands on equal footing with the gods is astonishing.
If you know Naruto, then the chances of not knowing Madara Uchiha are extremely low. One of the most iconic anime characters and the most legendary antagonist of the Naruto franchise ever. Even though the series ended long ago, fans are still not happy with the conclusion Madara received in the series.
Not a single Shinobi existed who would fight Madara and live to tell the tale to others; however, such an iconic villain was given a send-off, which was one of the worst in anime history and, to this day, has never made sense.
In the end, it was revealed that he was just a pawn of Otsutsuki’s and died when he was stabbed by Black Zetsu, making his death feel very forced and taking the series into a very different territory. We went from fighting ninjas to fighting gods who could summon up dimensions.
Madara Uchiha was too powerful to kill
Every single Naruto watcher would agree that the death of Madara Uchiha was forced; up until the introduction of Kaguya, Madara was dog-walking the entire Shinobi world. From toying with five kages to destroying Naruto and Sasuke, you name the form of humiliation and Madara has already done it to every character.
A popular theory based on Madara’s demise has surfaced. The theory states that the author unintentionally made Madara too strong for the verse and all the characters together were unable to put up a fight against him. Masashi Kishimoto forced himself into a corner with Madara and had no way to kill him.
According to the theory, Masashi Kishimoto had to introduce aliens and gods like Otsutsuki’s to take down Madara Uchiha, as he was a force to be reckoned with and any other way to kill him wouldn’t have made any sense.
This theory does hold some merit, as the introduction of Kaguya and the revelation that Madara was just a pawn in a bigger game weren’t making any sense. It’s sad that he was hyped up and carried out as the best villain in Naruto history only to die in such a mediocre way.
