Matt Damon set one condition while attending couple’s therapy with wife

Though Matt Damon and his wife have been together since 2003 and married since 2005, to call their relationship a perfect one would be untrue. During a promotional interview of Oppenheimer, the actor who played General Leslie Groves in the movie, shared his one condition to return to Hollywood. He had taken a break from acting as he wanted to focus on his family and work on the growing differences in his marriage due to his busy schedule.

The actor revealed, despite his wanting to do his best at the therapy, he had a condition,

“This is going to sound made up, but it’s actually true, I had — not to get too personal — negotiated extensively with my wife that I was taking time off. I had been in Interstellar, and then Chris put me on ice for a couple of movies, so I wasn’t in the rotation, but I actually negotiated in couples therapy — this is a true story — the one caveat to my taking time off was if Chris Nolan called.”

Well, luckily or unluckily, however, you like to see it, the condition of Christopher Nolan calling him did happen. He received the script of Oppenheimer and got the role of Leslie Groves. The actor managed to impress us all yet again with his powerful acting in one of the biggest summer releases of the year.

Oppenheimer is in cinemas now.
