Matt Damon feels extremely sorry for Brad Pitt

Despite being some of the most prominent actors of our time, Matt Damon and Brad Pitt have their own ways of managing the celebrity aspect of their life. Unlike Brad Pitt, who has been the center of tabloid scrutiny long before he tied the knot with Angelina Jolie, The Martian star has lived a more reserved life and has kept himself out of controversies for the better part of his career. But witnessing the extreme level of drama surrounding his friend, which skyrocketed after Jolie and Pitt announced their divorce, Damon felt sorry for the Seven star. Damon explained,

“I look at Brad–and I have for years–and when I’m with him I see the intensity of that other side of it and the paparazzi and the insane level of aggression they have and their willingness to break the law and invade his space–well, I wonder about that trade… I remember telling him that I walk my kids to school, and his face just fell. Because he should be able to do that, too. And he can’t.”

But despite keeping himself out of the media spotlight for the better part of his career, the Jason Bourne star did find himself in a career-ending position after making some controversial remarks.
