Turns out, Mattel too is a fan and thus years ago to pay homage to the movie and generate excitement for its second installment, it released a Barbie doll modeled after Reese Witherspoon, preserving the essence of the beloved iconic character Elle Woods.
Mattel Modeled a Barbie After Legally Blonde’s Elle Woods
Reese Witherspoon has indeed had a remarkable career. Besides having numerous accolades and achievements, one unique honor she was bestowed was becoming a Mattel Barbie, which only a few have a chance to become in their lifetime. The renowned toy company launched a Barbie doll inspired by her iconic character, Elle Woods, from the movie Legally Blonde.
The now-classic film shattered stereotypes all while its protagonist, Elle Woods, donned chic pink outfits. The film follows Elle, a fashion student, who after getting dumped by her boyfriend enrolled in Harvard Law School to win him back.

In anticipation of the blockbuster release of A Wrinkle in Time, Mattel also dazzled fans by introducing exquisite doll replicas of the iconic characters played by Oprah Winfrey, Mindy Kaling, and Reese Witherspoon, bringing to life the enchanting Mrs. Which, Mrs. Who, and Mrs. Whatsit in a truly magical way in the movie respectively.
