Recently the producer of the movie Hiram Garcia expressed his disappointment over the online leak of a major scene from the movie. But looks like the fans also have something extra to add to his statement. The audience doesn’t miss a chance to openly criticize the makers and the star The Rock himself who spoiled major elements of the movie.
DC’s latest project starring Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson opened up to a good reception from all around. Despite the criticism received from the critics, the audience could resonate with the entertainment factor in it. But the not-so-surprising factor of the mid-credits scene has led the fans to fully attack the makers of the movie.

Black Adam producer faces intense backlash from fans
Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson has been hyping up a cameo by Henry Cavill’s Superman in his movie for a very long time. Several of his interviews and posts on the Internet pointed to the appearance of the Man of Steel in his movie. Adding another layer to the rumors, the scene where the Man of Steel and the Man in Black meet got leaked online. And eventually, the Rock himself spoiled the part using statements like the “most powerful force in the universe being sidelined for long”.

Recently during an interview, the producer of the movie Hiram Garcia explained how frustrated he was over the leak that spoiled Black Adam for the fans.
“Oh my God, it is so frustrating. You work so hard, but look, we understand that this ending and this dream, this family dream that we had to bring to life, we knew that it was going to have an effect on the fans that were just like, ‘Oh my God!’ We heard them begging for it for so long. We’ve been wanting it for so long. It’s disappointing that it leaks. You hope that the fans that are so passionate about it really do their best to block it out so that they can go and get the movie and enjoy it.”
The fans took no time to attack the producer and question why Garcia stayed silent when the leading star himself spoiled the cameo of the movie. It is no lie that through various hints and talks the Rampage star himself almost confirmed Cavill’s appearance. Adding to the pain, even the marketing team released a clip on Twitter that got intense backlash from the fans.
So finally when the people reached the theaters, that mid-credits scene absolutely lost its surprise as everyone knew about it.
The fans take over the internet to criticize the whole fiasco

It must be acknowledged that despite all this, the movie didn’t fail to make a good impression as it garners a powerful 89% audience reception against a meager 41% critics rating. But are all of them against our beloved Dwayne Johnson or there’s another side also?
Not all fans are attacking Rock
Interestingly, there’s also another side of the story to this whole Black Adam incident. There’s also a certain section of fans who don’t blame the Rock at all but instead, criticize the fans who booed the San Andreas star when he kept his mouth shut at the SDCC 22. They even claimed that Johnson only opened his mouth when the leak was already floating all over the internet.
Exactly. Although, I don't fully blame him. I blame the fans. Who goes to watch a Black Adam film just to see a 5 sec Superman?!!! They bombarded him with Superman questions and booed him when he refused to tell them what they wanted. They all share the blame !!!

If examined perfectly, we can find everyone having their share of blame in the whole incident but that doesn’t nullify the fact that this mid-credits scene also points to a bright future for DCEU. With Man of Steel 2 being officially put under development, the new company leadership gives us hope that DC can undo all its past damages.
