After a recent interview with Vogue, Margot Robbie revealed that she and Greta Gerwig, the director of the upcoming Barbie movie, want Gal Gadot to be part of the film as well. “Gal Gadot is Barbie energy. Because Gal Gadot is so impossibly beautiful, but you don’t hate her for being that beautiful, because she’s so genuinely sincere, and she’s so enthusiastically kind, that it’s almost dorky. It’s like right before being a dork.” Margot Robbie said to Vogue

However, it was quite unfortunate that Gadot was unable to join the cast as she was not available. After hearing this, fans quickly took to Twitter to discuss it amongst themselves.

Many went on to say that the Wonder Woman star could potentially come if there were to be a sequel after the first film. Some agreed with Robbie, stating that she would have been perfect for the job as she would have been a great addition to see alongside Robbie’s Barbie, and are upset that we will not see her in the film.
