As the MCU settles itself with the release of Brie Larson’s The Marvels, there is bound to be some sadness present for the next year. With hundreds of obstacles in the way of the Marvel Cinematic Universe, people will have to wait a while now for the upcoming releases.
With the SAG-AFTRA Strike finally over, things seem to be back on track for Hollywood. There is, however, a slight problem, for the filmmaking industry. With a production halt for months, every project in Hollywood has been delayed by several months and for the MCU…this is bad news.
The MCU Has Some Good News And Bad News For Fans
In a world where every movie is somehow connected to others through a web of references called a cinematic universe, the MCU is probably one of the most entertaining yet complicated universes out there.
With the recent release of The Marvels, Brie Larson, Iman Vellani, and Teyonah Parris managed to stabilize things for a while but the SAG-AFTRA strike has affected the Marvel Cinematic Universe greatly. With a delay in most of its projects, next year brings fans of the MCU some good news and some bad news.
Starting off with a bitter truth, Captain America: Brave New World, which was set for a release date of 29 July 2024, has been pushed back to 2025. Alongside this, Thunderbolts and Blade have also faced delays and will be released in 2025 instead of their original date of 2024. And to save dessert for last, there is one MCU film that is going to be released next year that will probably be one of the biggest successes of the cinematic universe ever!
Deadpool 3 Is The Only MCU Movie Releasing Next Year!
Ryan Reynolds, Hugh Jackman, and director Shawn Levy will be present with their magnum opus Deadpool 3 when the film releases next year for fans of the MCU. With Wade Wilson, Wolverine, and the director of Free Guy in the mix, Deadpool 3 marks the official entry of Wolverine (and the X-Men) and Deadpool into the MCU.
Having tons of hope for the upcoming movie, Deadpool 3 will easily become one of the highest-grossing films of the MCU in 2024 since it is the only Marvel movie releasing next year. And not to mention the fact that the movie will be certified R-rated. With a release date of July 26, 2024, in theaters across the world, fans wait ecstatically for the arrival of the merc-with-a-mouth and his best friend Logan to enter into the Marvel Cinematic Universe and wreak havoc.
