In a recent video he posted on X, he can be seen joking around with a box, just like his iconic character Snake from the MGS franchise. One of the most anticipated games in Kojima’s development is Death Stranding 2, set to release exclusively for PS5 sometime next year.

In 2015, Konami decided to sever ties with Hideo Kojima after years of working on the same franchise, which had garnered fans worldwide. Metal Gear Solid is one of the most well-known video game sagas, but unfortunately, Kojima and the developer seemingly did not part on good terms.

After numerous frustrated projects and other issues, this director became independent and founded his own studio, which today, fortunately, has achieved enormous success.

Nearly 10 years after this breakup, Kojima is at the peak of his career, with multiple projects with different companies in the works. With the sequel to his first major independent game, this creator has much ahead of him.

Death Stranding 2 is the first of many projects on which his studio has worked tirelessly. Physint is one of those games that catches attention, as it will also involve espionage, like MGS.

Currently, Kojima Productions is also working on a project in collaboration with Xbox called OD, which has an impressive cast, just like Death Stranding, starring Norman Reedus.

One of the unique aspects of this creator is that he likes to mingle with the Hollywood world, knowing many actors who are willing to get involved in video games. Kojima’s style remains evident in his games.

For many years Konami did not make the best use of all its gigantic IPs, but this is about to change thanks to the new remakes it will release of several of its well-known games.

Metal Gear Solid Delta is one of these titles, accompanied by the Silent Hill 2 Remake, which will be released at some point this year. Many fans miss the days when Kojima was involved with the franchise starring Snake. Some are commenting on the nostalgic nature of the video.

This creator has a massive following that respects him greatly for his work and would play any kind of game he develops. Fortunately, Kojima has managed to land on his feet after the separation from Konami, and it seems things will only keep getting better in the coming years.

Fans are eagerly awaiting the next games from the studio, with the first to be released being Death Stranding 2.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
