On his Twitter account, Renner hinted that he may be preparing Mayor of Kingstown‘s season 3. Through the tweet, he also shut down rumors about his retirement. Most of his fans believed that the injury may force the actor to leave acting behind but fortunately, he is recovering and planning his next move.

Actor Jeremy Renner is now showing signs of recovery and plans to enter the next phase, mental preparation. Through his latest tweet, he has hinted that he will return as Mike McLusky in the third season of Mayor of Kingstown.

The actor wrote, “Might be time to start mental preparation for 3?” with a video of him playing Mike McLusky in Mayor of Kingstown. It’s safe to say that his fans are really excited to see his return. The third-season Mayor of Kingstown is yet to be announced by Paramount+ and obviously, the actor still needs time to fully recover before stepping on the sets again.

A heavy snowplow ran over Jeremy Renner

On January 1st, Jeremy Renner was severely injured when a heavy snowplow ran over him in Nevada. The actor was then airlifted to the intensive care unit after “blunt chest trauma and orthopedic injuries.

More than 30 of his bones were broken and the actor was hospitalized for a very long time. After the incident, he gave ABC News his first interview and explained,

“I’ve lost a lot of flesh and bone in this experience but I’ve been refueled and refilled with love and titanium.”

The actor was using his snow plow, which weighs more than 14,000 pounds, to tow his car, which was stuck. A family member was driving the car. After the car was pulled out, the actor got off the plow, which then began to roll. The actor then jumped on the vehicle’s seat in order to stop it from rolling down but he got run over. The near-death experience was quite traumatic for the actor.
