Tom Cruise is very excited about the release of Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. Cruise who is always involved in most of the decisions regarding his films is for now upset because of the theatre placement given to his film which is all set to release in July. The 60-year-old actor’s movie will be taking over the majority of the North America IMAX screens but soon Cillian Murphy’s Oppenheimer will be screened for direct 3 weeks.

Reportedly, until mid of August, director Christopher Nolan’s Oppenheimer will be screened which will be a loss for Cruise’s film Mission: Impossible – Dead Reckoning Part One. The Jack Reacher actor is reportedly, frustrated and pissed because of the theatre placements provided to him. This theatre placement will limit the theatre capacity for Cruise’s movie. As Cruise’s previous movie Top Gun: Maverick was a smashing hit at the box office, he doesn’t want his upcoming film to suffer in any way.

According to a new expert, the Top Gun actor is doing everything possible to ensure that his film’s conflict with Oppenheimer does not negatively impact its box office collection. Based on reports, Cruise is personally calling all of the exhibitors involved to convince them to support him when the film is released. He is trying to convince them to screen his movie for a longer duration.

Reportedly, Nolan the director of Oppenheimer has received huge support from IMAX, and even this time IMAX would choose Nolan over Cruise because of their past relationship. Oppenheimer had already booked the slot for the release in 2021 so the exhibitors may screen Oppenheimer for a longer duration that is until mid-August.
