Marvel Studios has explored different corners of the universe throughout each outing. While the focus at the moment is on the multiverse, Marvel is looking at dipping its toes into the supernatural. One of the upcoming projects that will be tackling the supernatural elements is the highly anticipated series, Moon Knight! Fans have been wanting to see this character brought to live action for ages. With Star Wars and Dune actor Oscar Isaac attached as the lead, audiences are hoping to see him get some redemption in the comic book media after the dismal X-Men outing, X-Men: Apocalypse.

Watch the teaser:

Moon Knight will not only focus on Egyptology, the show will also tackle Marc Spector’s dissociative identity disorder (DID) like in the comics. Marc Spector is just one of the 3 main identities and I for one am excited to see Isaac’s take on the character! So far, the cast includes Ramy actress May Calamawy and Academy Award nominee Ethan Hawke in an undisclosed villain role. The series is created by The Umbrella Academy‘s Jeremy Slatter. Directing the six-part series are Egyptian filmmaker Mohamed Diab and duo  Justin Benson and Aaron Moorhead.
