Invincible’s Omni-Man will be the first DLC fighter to come in Mortal Kombat 1 and will arrive in November this year. Omni-Man will be available in the game’s Kombat Pack 1 and will also be available as part of the Mortal Kombat 1 Premium Edition. Ed Boon, MK1 director showed off the gameplay of Omni-Man who is just as gory and intense as it is in the original Prime Video series.

Ed Boon has previously teased about showing off Omni-Man in gory and brutal battles against Scorpion and Liu Kang. Actor J.K. Simmons will take on his role as Omni-Man in the game. Some of the alien superhero’s moves were straight from the series and he is only more arrogant and imposing than ever before. Although the superhero seems to be slower than other fighters in the game, he makes it up with his power that’s enough to break Liu Kang’s skull.

As much as Omni-Man mesmerized the players, the trailer also showed off Kameo fighter, Tremor, the earth-elemental ninja who was first seen in Mortal Kombat: Special Forces, and was last available to play in Mortal Kombat X. Omni-Man and Tremor will be part of MK1’s Kombat Pack and the release schedule for the DLC fighters revealed that both these fighters will arrive in November.

The developers NetherRealm Studios had already revealed the Kombat Pack and what it would look like before the game was even released. This created anticipation among players for the game and although most of the things somehow leaked, the addition of Omni-Man, Homelander, and Peacemaker was still one of the surprises the game had up its sleeve.

NetherRealm announced the release schedule of Kombat Pack fighters with Omni-Man trailer who will arrive this November with Tremor. Other fighters from the Kombat Pack will follow soon with Quan Chi and DC’s Peacemaker coming in winter 2023/2024. Ermac and Homelander from The Boys are expected to arrive in the Spring of next year and the last fighter to join the game will be Takeda Takahashi, who might arrive sometime in the summer of 2024.

While the developers announced the release schedule for these fighters, they did not announce specific release windows for some other fighters. Although it is confirmed that Ferra, Janet Cage, Khameleon, and Mavado are all coming as Kameo fighters, it isn’t certain when. There are also chances that how Tremor is coming with Omni-man, these Kameo fighters could follow suit with the other announced fighters.

There are also rumors that there is much more coming to Mortal Kombat 1 apart from the fighters in Kombat Pack. There have been leaks about what could Kombat Pack 2 bring to the game including guest fighters like Harley Quinn and Deathstroke.

However, there have been no announcements and this could be untrue just like many other MK1 leaks in the past. Nonetheless, with the announcement of the DLC fighters’ release schedule and Omni-Man coming next month, players have much to be excited about.
