As the most recent manga chapter of My Hero Academia revealed Deku has lost almost all of the One for All quirks and vestiges to Shigaraki Tomura, many fans have started believing that Horikoshi’s story might end with the quirks being completely extinct from My Hero Academia world, thus taking Earth back to its original state.

However, there is one other theory that has been recently introduced to the internet which states that My Hero Academia’s ending won’t be the result of all the quirks going completely extinct, but the series will end after it creates a better environment for the people that live in the My Hero Academia world.

Looking at the recent events of the My Hero Academia manga, it is safe to say that the series is nearing its conclusion. Fans of My Hero Academia are tremendously enthusiastic for the Final War Saga of the story to conclude as it is currently publishing what could be its final battle between Deku and Shigaraki Tomura.

The manga for My Hero Academia, which has over 38 volumes and 400+ chapters, is presently showcasing what could be the series’ climactic battle. However, the anime is just roughly halfway finished, with season 6 concluding volume 26 and going on to volume 33. Although no official confirmation has been given by the creators of the series, the story ending after the battle between Shigaraki and Deku will result in the perfect ending as both of them are the main characters of the series. However, Horikoshi might add the happy ending moment by giving the characters a proper closing.

Theory Claims My Hero Academia Will End After Creating a Better Environment

According to u/Aros001, there have been multiple theories on the internet that state that My Hero Academia will end after all the quirks are removed from the world, which will help the Earth return to its original state. Eri’s power or the combination of All for One with One for All could result in quirks vanishing from the face of the earth.

However, another theory states that My Hero Academia will conclude after it creates a better environment for its characters to live in. This has also been foreshadowed by Horikoshi in the series multiple times. Characters like Shigaraki, Dabi, Himiko, Twice, and even Izuku have been hurt by the cruel environment and the failed society shown in the series.

These major characters have always portrayed that quirks did not lead them to the bad path, but the failed society in which they lived forced them. Some chose to change their surroundings while others chose to destroy it. Therefore, the perfect conclusion for the series would be to improve the environment and the society in which all kinds of people can live freely.
