Ryan Reynolds has often spoken about the struggle it took to make his first Deadpool movie a reality. Now set to join the MCU alongside in the highly anticipated Deadpool & Wolverine, Reynolds’ portrayal of Deadpool has reached iconic status, comparable to Robert Downey Jr.’s Iron Man and Chris Evans’ Captain America. Much like these legendary portrayals, it’s unimaginable to picture anyone else stepping into the red suit.

Yet, when it comes to making another Deadpool movie, Reynolds is apprehensive and jokingly stated that another such flick would take a toll on his family life. During his recent appearance on  The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy FallonReynolds was asked about the possibility of Deadpool 4, and he promptly stated,

Oh, God, no. My wife and children will divorce me.

Apart from starring as the lead, Deadpool, Reynolds is famous for taking the duties of a producer as well as a writer for his Deadpool flicks. Having worn multiple hats on the set of his superhero film, Reynolds is right in saying that jumping straight into another project would disrupt both his personal and professional life.
