Netflix is Putting Their Best Foot Forward For Avatar: The Last Airbender
Netflix recently unveiled the trailer for their live-action adaptation of Avatar: The Last Airbender. The response from fans has been extremely positive with many of them praising the authentic casting choices and the nuanced realization of the source material. After they got burned by M. Night Shyamalan’s horrible adaptation. they are hoping that episodic adaptation will satisfy them.

M. Night Shyamalan Teases a New And Exciting Thrill-Ride With Trap
M. Night Shyamalan has a new film this year titled Trap which stars Josh Hartnett and the director’s eldest daughter Saleka Shyamalan. Shyamalan, known for his intense thrillers and shocking plot twists, teased a new and exciting treatment for this new film.
Talking to NME in 2023, the director revealed that the film is an unusual thriller that is packaged in a new and fresh way. He also expressed his excitement bout the exciting potential of the story and the impact it’ll have on fans. He said,
“I have a new idea that I’ve started writing. It’s out in 2024 and it’s very, very exciting. It’s a thriller. It’s very unusual and very new compared to what I’ve been trying to do [recently], but I’m feeling very excited about the story, so much so that I can’t wait to tell it to you guys.”
Warner Bros is distributing the film and it is a reunion between the studio and the director almost 17 years since Lady in the Water in 2006. Trap will be released in theatres on August 2, 2024.
