There hasn’t been any official announcement regarding season 2 of Netflix’s One Piece. Considering season 1 just dropped, it’s implausible we’ll hear anything for a while.

Season one of the One Piece live-action follows the events of season 1 of the anime, along with some portions from the East Blue manga saga. One Piece anime has 1073 episodes as of August 2023, which translates into the 20th season. This implies that the future of the live-action holds a lot more content than we’re speculating at the moment.

Hypothetically, if Season 2 were to be released, then based on season one’s timeline, we might have an idea. The filming for season one of the live-action started in January 2022 and finished in August 2022. However, the series was released a year later, in August 2023.
