Dwayne Johnson is currently the highest-paid actor in the industry and it seems like he will continue to be at the forefront for quite a while. Dwayne Johnson is undoubtedly one of the biggest names in the Hollywood industry, one can even argue that his name has been upgraded to a brand. He has turned uncountable movies into blockbusters and has also turned his life around for the better over time, but his recent couple of movies has failed at the box office and has also failed to impress his fans whom he has gathered over time from his initial role in The Mummy Returns released back in 2001. This was not his first big stage star as before Hollywood he was a professional WWE athlete and made his debut back in 1996.
The 95th Academy Awards will have a very interesting list of award presenters as many names can be noticed such as Samuel L. Jackson, Michael B. Jordan, Zoe Saldana, Deepika Padukone, and many others. But the most eye-catching one from the batch seems to be the superstar, WWE athlete turned Hollywood celebrity, Dwayne ‘The Rock’ Johnson.
And this won’t be his first time presenting an award at the Oscars as he previously appeared as the presenter on the 80th Academy Awards and the 87th one too. Fans are quite happy that Hollywood still has the utmost respect for the guy despite his recent multiple box-office failures, but Dwayne Johnson also plans of his to make a strong comeback with his Red One.

Dwayne Johnson has an excellent track record of starring in blockbuster movies or making a movie into one. He has also made his business, Teremana Tequila, a tequila brand a successful one with his immense fame worldwide though it was only launched in 2020. While he has led a very successful life, his portrayal as Black Adam in the movie Black Adam under the DCU has broken his pitch-perfect record, as he faced a terrible obstacle after the movie premiered.
With the new heads appointed to the DCU namely James Gunn and Peter Safran, their plan for the DC universe in the upcoming years has dealt a major blow to Johnson’s plan for his character, Black Adam. Moreover, his movie failed to impress many, and as it had a production cost of $190-260 million and it could only collect $393 million at the box office. The movie also has an average IMDb rating of 6.3/10, though it could have been much better, the overall script just did not work out.
Currently, Dwayne Johnson is set on his redemption arc as he is set on his new upcoming movie, Red One, the movie will be a completely packed action movie and many promises are made from Johnson’s side about the movie. Many big-time actors are also in the movie like Chris Evans, Lucy Liu, and many others. The movie is already in its production stage and will be released by the end of 2023.
