In one of his episodes, Rogan explains how he has started watching Demon Slayer and he has become obsessed with the show.
Joe Rogan Loves Demon Slayer
Rogan is an American UFC color commentator, actor, comedian, podcaster, and former television host. He talks about current affairs, comedy, politics, philosophy, science, martial arts, and hobbies with a range of guests on his podcast, The Joe Rogan Experience. In one of his podcasts last year, Rogan talked about how he started watching Demon Slayer and how he became obsessed with it. This clip was shared on YouTube by Yiman and it became viral. In the Podcast Rogan said:
“I’ve been watching Demon Slayer lately. Demon Slayer is Wild sh*t. It’s about a demon that slaughtered this dude’s(Tanjiro) family. And this dude has to like to fight off demons. Yeah! That’s the demon slayer. That’s the dude with the earrings. There is so much blood and swords and you’re cutting demons heads off.”
Rogan admitted that the show was wild and had so much blood and swords and killings. Demon Slayer follows teenage Tanjiro Kamado, who strives to become a Demon Slayer after his family is slaughtered and his younger sister, Nezuko, is turned into a demon.
Fans Could Not Believe Joe Rogan’s Obsession With Demon Slayer
As the clip of Rogan talking about Demon Slayer went viral on YouTube, fans could not believe that Rogan would admit to loving anime. They left many comments on the clip in context to Rogan’s love for Demon Slayer. A user commented on the clip saying: “Never thought I’d see Joe admitting to watching anime”. Another user connected Rogan with Jojo’s Bizzare Adventure and said: “Me waiting till he watches JoJo so he can become Joe Jogan.”
One user talking about Dragon Ball Z and Naruto said: “Rogan doesn’t realize how much he’d appreciate shows like Naruto or DBZ.” One user pointing out the mainstream connection of anime said: “Bro… this is so weird. I knew anime was mainstream a few years ago. But like, didn’t know people were going to talk about it.”
