The version 1.0 release of 7 Days to Die is almost here. Players are excited to see what developer The Fun Pimps has planned for them in the full release. There will be new features, 3D character models, vehicle models, and more.
The 1.0 experimental build is now out and while fans await the release, it seems like the game will bring one new and much stronger enemy type. This points to a future mechanic that the developer hinted recently.

7 Days to Die was in Early Access for 12 years and when The Fun Pimps announced full launch, fans were elated. The 1.0 version will bring a lot of new features and one player has now encountered a new enemy type while playing the experimental build that could be a big hint to a future mechanic.
Reddit user notBouBou took to the game’s subreddit and said that they encountered a Zombie Bear in the wasteland. As per their description, the enemy was “very scary looking and very tanky.” The player also said that the bear had something on its back that can be used to ride it.

They also said that upon killing the Zombie Bear, it dropped an orange lootbag. The player further added that the thing on the back to ride could be meant for future bandits that were announced by the developer to come to the game. This could be a major addition as it will make things much more harder.

In addition to the wasteland’s already harsher conditions, the Bandits will make it difficult for the players to survive. As per the roadmap shared by The Fun Pimps, the Bandits will be coming to the game next year.
The Bandits will be a part of the second major update called “A New Threat,” after 1.0 version launch and is scheduled to drop sometime in 2025 Q2. This was one of the features that was announced during the game’s kickstarter days.
However, the human NPC enemies have been delayed multiple times but it seems like after the full launch, The Fun Pimps will finally give players what it promised. It’ll be exciting to see what kind of adventure these Bandits bring.
