However, several Helldivers fell in battle, and to commemorate their heroics, the president of Super Earth announced the day as Malevelon Creek Memorial Day.

Anybody who logs into the game after April 3rd will find that the cape has been automatically sent to their armory. While there is no guarantee regarding how long the giveaway will last, it should be available at least until April 10th, 2024.

Helldivers 2 Players Are Facing a New Bug

The fight for managed democracy is facing an unexpected issue.
The fight for managed democracy is facing an unexpected issue.

Helldivers 2 is one of the most popular games of 2024. However, the game has its fair share of bugs and glitches. The latest one to plague the players is the one concerning the Fallen Hero’s Vengence, also called Malevelon Creek Cape. When players started completing major orders, they were surprised to receive only one medal.

When one player pointed it out, Johan Pilestedt replied, saying that the player must have hit the maximum cap or 250 stored medals. However, fans flocked to the comments to disprove the Arrowhead CEO with screenshots of their own.

The Arrowhead Game Studios CEO was quick to accept the presence of the bug and even suggested that it might be caused by the Malevelon Creek Cape. Players came forward with their own instances where they were well below the maximum medal cap and still got a single medal from the Major Order completion.

While suggestions went rife that players without the Malevelon Creek Cape equipped were the ones being targeted by the bug, plenty of reports emerged of players facing the same issue even while having the cape equipped. So, the issues seem to persist for all players, irrespective of whether they have the cape equipped or not.

Moreover, the cape did not appear in the notifications. Instead, it can be directly accessed in the armory. Whatever the issue is, it most certainly isn’t the medal cap, as Pilestedt originally suggested. It now remains to be seen how soon the developers will fix the bug. It would also be worth noting whether the players affected get reimbursed for the medals owed.

Another Day, Another Helldivers 2 Bug

Despite the bugs, Helldivers 2 players are going strong.
Despite the bugs, Helldivers 2 players are going strong.

While bugs are a fairly common occurrence on the battlefields of Helldivers 2, unfortunately for players, they are becoming a regular occurrence in the game too. Yes, we are talking about the numerous bugs that players have faced in the game ever since its advent in February 2024. However, despite all the bug-related issues, the community is staunchly behind the developers who have been doing a fantastic job so far.

With no new updates from the developers regarding the Malevelon Creek Cape yet, fans believe it is only a matter of time before the studio fixes the issue.

I travel. I game. I write. In no strict order.

The single biggest lie told all around is, "It isn't that simple." It is simple, everything is. And that is what I emulate in my writing. No unnecessary jargons and no flamboyant flourish. Just what's needed to get your imagination going. After all mind has no limit, unlike the written word.
