The Hawkeye actor suffered multiple severe injuries, including blunt chest trauma and more than 30 broken bones. The Marvel star recently joined Jimmy Kimmel on his late-night talk show and shared how his friend and co-star Paul Rudd tried cheering him up as he shared his get-well-soon wishes with a funny short video.

Jeremy Renner Received a Hilarious Video Message

During his appearance on Jimmy Kimmel Live!, Jeremy Renner talked about a hilarious video he received from his Marvel co-star, Paul Rudd. He shared that the Ant-Man star was in town for the promotion of his film and visited him several times in the hospital.

Renner also shared that Paul Rudd made a fake video message similar to the personalized video messages fans can get via platforms like Cameo. “He made a fake one. I didn’t even ask him to,” The Avengers star said. The Clueless actor referred to Renner as “Jerry” in the video message as he said,

“Hey Jerry, I hear you’re a little banged up. Got in a fight with a snowblower apparently? Anyway, I just wanted to send this video. It’s really from the heart, and I hope you’re feeling better. Sounds like you are. Apparently, you’re a pretty tough guy.”

Rudd further mentions that maybe they can meet one day pretending to be talking to a fan as he told him to take care. He also had a small piece of advice for his co-star. “Maybe just let the snow melt! Feel better, Jerry!” he said as he ended the video message.

Jeremy Renner Had a Haunting Experience in the Hospital

Jeremy Renner spent over two weeks in the hospital after his snowplow accident. While talking to Jimmy Kimmel, he shared his experience of staying in the hospital. He said that he was pretty uncomfortable with the ICU section he was held in, as it was under construction at the time.

The Mission Impossible actor shared that he was already on “so many drugs,” and certain things about the ICU he was kept in made him feel as if he was in a haunted house.

“The lights are flickering, everyone here is moaning like they’re dying in the ICU,” he said before adding, “I’m like, ‘This is like a haunted house.”

Renner shared that he wanted to get out of there, as he felt he wouldn’t get better in such an environment. However, he also shared that he is grateful to the medical staff for saving his life and that he was planning to “apologize to every one of those nurses.” He visited the medical staff of Renown Regional Medical Center in Reno, Nevada, four months after his accident and shared pictures with them on his Instagram.
