A lot of actresses have their eyes on the role of Lois Lane, and Mary Mouser happens to be one of them. Ever since the hunt for Superman: Legacy’s titular character and his partner started, actors and actresses have been trying their best to grab the role. Undoubtedly, these are massive roles to grab seeing that an entire franchise will be molded around these characters and their foundational basis.
It would make sense to see why so many actors and actresses are leaning towards the roles as they have living proof of just how much it can impact their careers. For Robert Downey Jr., Henry Cavill, Chris Evans, and so many other actors, these roles have given a boost to their jobs and their fame all over.
Mary Mouser Is Amongst Many Who Want To Be Lois Lane
Lois Lane changed the idea of what a female side character can be in comic books and superhero franchises. Instead of being the damsel in distress, she chose to fight the world alongside Superman in the best way she can. She excels in her own field, proving the fact that she is indeed a smart and valiant character. Lois Lane picked up her camera and helped the world with it. Although some of the strongest contenders at the moment happen to be Rachel Brosnahan and Emma Mackey, others are also trying to give their best.
It is very much a race, and whoever wins gets an exceptional role. Mary Mouser has also reportedly auditioned for Lois Lane. The Cobra Kai actress tried her hand at the role, however, there is no confirmation about whether or not she got the part, which is something that won’t be revealed anytime soon either. With so many people auditioning, it is given that the process will be long. This is fair as well since the role is heavily integral to the franchise as well as to the people.
Fans Pick Peyton List Over Mary Mouser
Fans seem conflicted upon learning that Mary Mouser wants to play Lois Lane as well. They believe her to be too young for the role, stating that she could possibly have tried out and even had a chance had the story been set in a fresher setting for Superman’s journey. Many even think that Mouser is better suited for Lana Lang.
Her vibe's a little too bubbly for Lois, while Mackey and Brosnahan are spot on.

Others have sided with the fact that they would rather see Peyton List as Lois Lane than her. They are leaning toward the idea that List will be a great fit for the role. However, all over, the response has not been the best.
