Other than perhaps Batman, there is not another superhero bigger than Spider-Man. You only have to look at the multiple films, TV shows, comic runs, merchandise, video games, and more to see that Spider-Man is big news, and that’s why there’s a lot of pressure to get it right when creating an item in ‘his name’.

Noblechairs’ EPIC Spider-Man gaming chair was crafted with that in mind, as well as a lot of care besides, but is it as comfortable as you’d want a gaming chair to be? We found out. And then some. Read on for more.

A Chair to Make Spider-Man Proud

Spider-man

The most important part of any chair, gaming or otherwise, is how comfortable it is, and we’ll get to that, but first, we need to take some time to showcase the absolute beauty of this chair. It. Is. Gorgeous.

Whether you’re a fan of the games, the films, or the comics, you will appreciate the look of this chair, trust me. The red and black color scheme perfectly encapsulates Spider-Man, no matter the costume you’re thinking of, and looks incredibly modern, sleek, and slick. It’s a crisp interpretation of a Spider-Man costume for sure.

There are not many gaming chairs out there you might buy purely based on the aesthetic appeal. Still, it does seem that Noblechairs are heavily dominating that side of the market, with chairs like this one, the Elden Ring edition, and the rune-inspired Doom Edition.

But how does it feel to sit in it? As anyone who works long office hours (or games for days on end) will attest to, the comfort a gaming chair affords is the most important factor. There’s no point having a beautiful chair if you can’t bear to sit in it. Thankfully, I’m glad to say as well as being aesthetically pleasing, the chair is a delight to use for long hours. I need to preface my next few comments with the fact I’m ridiculously and unusually tall at 6ft8, so far beyond the normal parameters of what most items are designed and built for, but I’m glad to say that this is one chair that not only manages to support my taller frame with ease. Not only that but after having others sit in it for extended periods, – one of which is 5ft4 – it seems to be as comfortable for others as it was for my giant self.

The chair comes with a few different options, position-wise, with the ability to move everything from the position of the backrest – for me rigid and upright – to the armrests, you’ll be able to set the chair up in a manner you’ll find best. Talking of setting the chair up, unlike other gaming chairs I’ve received, this was an absolute doddle to put together. From the tools being supplied, to the fact it only took ten minutes from the open box to the complete chair sitting in my office, there are few gaming chairs easier to put together than this one.

Now, as good as everything is so far, there are a few select negatives that need to be aired. Gaming chairs are becoming big business as we all know, but the price point of many is a little out there, and this is one of them. Whilst the chair is incredibly well made, and even comes with both a lumbar pillow – personally, I didn’t use this as I found it uncomfortable – and a headrest – unlike the previous, this is a must and very comfortable -, it can feel slightly overpriced, but that comes with the territory of not only gaming chairs but especially licensed gaming chairs.

Without a doubt, if you’re looking to purchase a superhero-themed gaming/office chair then you’d be hard-pushed to find one that’ll better fit, even more so if you’re a Spider-Man fan, as I’d go so far as to say this is the best Spider-Man themed gaming chair out there. However, if you’re not fussed with the look/licensing of the chair, there may be a couple of better options available, including the ThunderX3 COREfor starters.
