Bob Odenkirk’s 2021 action thriller Nobody presented the actor in a never-before-seen avatar as a secret assassin who has left his past behind to start a family of his own. The actor impressed audiences as an action hero, doing most of the stunts and action himself. Odenkirk is set to return in the sequel to the film.

The sequel has already been announced and now one of the stars of the first film has spoken up about the prospects of the sequel. Connie Nielson who played Odenkirk’s wife in Nobody has now teased that the sequel will continue to explore more of the family dynamics through its great story. She told Screenrant,

“Who doesn’t love Bob? Bob is just so cool and fun and sweet, and he has unbelievable energy. I adore him. That guy is just so great. And then, on top of that, you have this family again.

I’m a family person and I love depicting the tensions inside of a family; the natural tensions, but also the sweetness that underlies the love that connects all of these people together. This is a great family. It’s a great story that I look forward to returning to, definitely.”

It will be exciting to see how the family deals with the aftermath of the first film and the revelation of Odenkirk’s character as an assassin. No release date has been announced as of yet, and the film has even started shooting.
