When it comes to dominating the action genre nobody does it better than Arnold Schwarzenegger. The actor has ruled this genre for over 20 years, and during this period, he starred in smash-hit blockbusters such as Commando, Predator, The Terminator, Total Recall, and many more. The Austrian Oak has met all the qualifications to be crowned as an action icon, showing that age is just a number as he is 75 years old and he is not done with making action movies.

After taking a brief career break, Arnold Schwarzenegger is returning with another action role in Netflix’s FUBAR, where he will be playing the role of a secret agent. In a new promotional video uploaded by the OTT platform, it was announced that the actor has been appointed as the Chief Action officer.

Netflix Appoints Arnold Schwarzenegger As Their Chief Action Officer

Recently, Netflix uploaded a video on their official YouTube channel, in the 2-minute long video, Arnold Schwarzenegger came to the Netflix headquarters in his M47 Tank. As he got out of his vehicle, he said “no one loves action as much as I do. That’s why I’ve accepted the big new job as Netflix’s Chief Action Officer.”

The scene changed, where The Terminator actor was sitting in his office, where he was seen promoting other upcoming Netflix action movies like Extraction 2, The Witcher Season 3, Heart of Stone, and many more films and series in their lineup. And Schwarzenegger claims, he is working tirelessly to make the action in the streaming giant to be the “biggest” because everyone loves it “as long as it’s big.”

“I’m working around the clock to bring you the biggest action on Earth. Nobody knows action like I do, and nobody hits like Netflix.”

Along with working on the action sequences of other films and series of the streaming giant, Arnold Schwarzenegger is going to be part of a new action-comedy series, FUBAR, which looks promising and the first episode is already streaming on Netflix.

Arnold Schwarzenegger’s Favour To Sylvester Stallone

When it comes to rivalry in the movie industry, nobody comes close to the rivalry between Schwarzenegger and Stallone, and the two fuelled a friendly and sometimes fierce rivalry, as the two would star in similar roles and enjoy box-office success. Despite their banters, they have mutual respect for each other. The fans were greatly entertained as the movie series featured two action icons on the same screen for the first time, as they have been waiting for ages to see them together.

The Former Governor of California shared during an interview, how he worked in The Expendables franchise on a favorable basis to his friend, Sylvester Stallone, and he will not be a part of the fourth film.

“It’s done and I’m not in it. I said, ‘You know what, we have done this and I’m out of it.’ And [Stallone] really understood. I did [the first Expendables] as a favor to Sly. I shot it on a Saturday for two hours quickly in a church with Bruce Willis. Sly said, ‘Oh, can you do Expendables 2?’ and I did that for a weekend. Then it was expanded for Expendables 3. And that was it. We’re going to do something together one day.”

Even though it is disheartening to learn that Arnold Schwarzenegger will not be in the fourth film, it was nostalgic and thrilling to see the greatest action stars together, making the franchise special.
