Former UFC champion Sean Strickland took a jibe at the troubled relationship between Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. Taking to his Instagram, the UFC champion shared a reel on his story that reflected an old interview with the actor.
In the reel shared on his story, Smith discussed his personal take on not being cheated ever again while appealing to the validation of being on top in Hollywood. The video was hilariously edited to humiliate the relationship with another added cut of Pinkett Smith laughing out loud.
Sean Strickland Shared A Video Mocking Will-Jada Smith Relationship
Former UFC champion Sean Strickland often shares memes on his Instagram story. This time, the fighter shared a ‘supposedly funny’ video of Will Smith and his wife Jada Pinkett Smith. There is no secret that the infamous celebrity couple has gone through a very rough patch in their 25 years of marriage.
Strickland shared the video from American football player Ray Green under the handle name therealraygreen, the video appears to humorously mock Smith using his own comments from a previous interview on The Hollywood Reporter.
Strickland has over 1.3 million followers on Instagram and the former champion doesn’t shy away from sharing memes and funny content online through his social accounts, especially Instagram. It is unclear why Strickland shared the video but one thing seems certain the UFC star doesn’t adhere to the public attention the Will-Jada relationship has been getting from time to time since 2016.
What Will Smith Actually Said
Tracing back to the original video, Close Up With The Hollywood Reporter was released in 2016 following the release of Peter Landesman’s Smith-starrer movie Concussion. In the interview, Smith revealed that he lives in fear, elaborating on that the actor said:
“I’m trying to develop a more realistic perspective of what this business is I told my mother this the other day she thought it was hilarious I said when I was 15 years old my first girlfriend cheated on me oh and I remember making a decision that nobody would ever cheat on me again. And the way I was going to do that is by being the biggest actor on Earth, right? So, there’s been this weird psychology that I’ve always felt like if my movies are number one my life is gonna work out great you know?”
Smith’s comments on the interview were not closely related to the relationship with his wife. However, the cut and paste of certain portions of the interview and adding Pinkett Smith’s reaction in the end makes it look like directly mocking Smith.
