Although it was famous before as well, now the hype of Jujutsu Kaisen has reached a whole new level. Now ranked as the second most trending manga series on MANGA Plus, Gege Akutami is defying all expectations with each new release as the manga recently surpassed even the awfully famous Chainsaw Man manga series.
Achieving an incredibly significant milestone in the manga world, Jujustu Kaisen has managed to get an impressively whopping 785,878 views overall to claim second place in the list of most viewed series only after One Piece, with Chainsaw Man now closely following behind Jujutsu Kaisen with 762,933 views at the third place.
However, reaching this position wasn’t easy, for the series saw one major death of one of the best characters to ever have existed in the manga: Gojo Satoru. As it turns out, Sukuna ended up defeating the acclaimed sorcerer during their clash by surpassing his seemingly invincible Infinity Technique with the help of Mahoraga’s special abilities.
Right now, another big twist is expected in the beloved manga series and it seems the emotional pain won’t stop there as another fan-favorite character, Megumi Fushiguro is now rumored to be Sukuna’s next victim.

While Jujutsu Kaisen fans are still recovering from the major loss of Gojo Satoru, recent spoilers along with a tweet from Gege Akutami on X have created rumors about Megumi Fushiguro, Satoru’s student and a remarkably fine sorcerer, to be the next victim of the King of Curses, Sukuna, in his monstrous Heian Era form.
As per reports, Hajime Kashimo will fight Sukuna with his cursed techniques in the soon-to-be-released chapter 237. Because of his curses, Kashimo’s body will be destroyed as soon as he deactivates it, and the King of Curses will be out in his true form. That’s where the suspense starts, for Sukuna might use Fushiguro’s body as a vessel to revive himself.
Since Megumi Fushiguro does not possess the ability to control a curse, and one as powerful as Sukuna at that, the question of whether he will be able to survive or not arises, which is troublesome enough. Furthermore, if Sukuna does acquire Fushiguro’s body as a vessel, the young sorcerer might not be able to return unharmed, thus, his fate lies in incredible danger.
All in all, hanging on this utterly stunning cliffhanger, the upcoming chapters are yet to decide whether the young and incredible sorcerer Megumi Fushiguro will be granted further life or not.
