Demon Slayer’s Kibutsuji Muzan is a character with many talents. The Demon King possesses unrivaled looks, unique abilities, and a high intelligence quotient. He can create demons at will by transplanting his blood into another individual. Often, he is seen in different avatars to blend with humans to search for Blue Spider Lily.

Even though he possesses such qualities, he is not the most intelligent character in the Demon Slayer universe. There is another person who holds that title. The most intelligent character in Demon Slayer is the physician who turned Muzan into the Demon King. He was trying to cure Muzan, who was on his deathbed. However, he created the most notorious and evil personality ever.

Muzan’s Doctor Changed The History Of The Humans

Almost 1000 years before the current Demon Slayer calendar, Kibutsuji Muzan was still a human being. Unfortunately, he suffered from an unknown disease and was on his deathbed. Having tried every method to cure the disease, his physician suggested to perform an experimental treatment on him. He made a medicine from the Blue Spider Lily and fed it to the antagonist. Feeling that nothing had changed, Kubutsuji Muzan charged at the physician and killed him.

Later, he realized that his strength had increased significantly. Then began his journey as the Demon King and created more of his kind. Muzan is regarded as a character with ten heads because of his intelligence, but nothing would have been possible without the unnamed physician. He was the one to use the Blue Lily Spider to cure a dying person and make him immortal. The physician achieved it at a young age which is quite admirable.

Even though he was the most intelligent personality in Demon Slayer, having created the Demon King, it turned out to be his worst decision. His experiment was a massive success, yet his patient killed him unknowingly. If he had refrained from curing him, he would have been alive and could have achieved more as a doctor. Unfortunately, his greatest achievement became his worst decision ever. It was the worst decision not only for him but for the entire Demon Slayer universe.

Demon Slayer Will Return With A Trilogy Of Movies

Demon Slayer season 4 finale (Credits: Ufotable)

Demon Slayer season 4 ended on a cliffhanger with the Hashiras and Tanjiro’s group getting trapped in the Infinity Castle. It marked the beginning of the end with the final battle between the humans and demons inbound. However, the anime will take a different approach with the final arc. Instead of the regular seasonal format, Ufotable will be a trilogy of movies featuring the Infinity Castle. It will be exciting to see the movies lined up one after another.

The official release date is yet to be revealed. Fans are speculating the first movie might be released in 2025, following the pattern of the anime, where it is released every year. However, Ufotable has done a tremendous job with the visuals, and considering it will be the finale, they might just go the distance. Moreover, movies are economically friendly and earn them more money. Ufotable will be thankful to Kibutsuji Muzan’s physician for helping them earn millions.

Demon Slayer is currently available to watch on Crunchyroll.
