As a result, fans have gotten even more excited looking at Goku and Vegeta having a go at each other. V Jump is a Japanese shōnen manga magazine that focuses on the latest manga and video game news. Most of the comments echo the impatience among fans as they wait for the game to drop which should be later this year.

A Reddit post by a fan showcasing screengrabs from Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero has increased the hype factor among DBZ fans. The screenshots taken from a Japanese manga and video game magazine reveal Goku and Vegeta fighting each other and the post is garnering a lot of comments from DBZ fans.

The magazine states, “Flashy transformations and powerful special attacks create an exciting battle!“. The poster also mentions Goku’s various strengths and his different Super Saiyan forms.

One of the fans who’s “beyond excited” waiting for the game, commented:

god. not to be a dickriding dbz meathead or anything but this might be the best looking stylised game of all time.

Another fan commented that looking at the screengrabs takes them back to the days when they had to check the Saiyan Island website for such scans. Fans also hoped that the game would feature “characters going from base to their final form, with all forms between it.

The Kaio-ken Rush attack featured in the screenshot was also not missed by the fans, while another comment stated just how good it was seeing “Goku punching Vegeta twice while Vegeta is just posing.”

A recent update by Bandai Namco also revealed Vegeta going into Super Saiyan God form and has fans getting even more hyped. The post had the caption, “His determination knows no limits.” 11 forms of Goku and 13 forms of Vegeta were all glimpsed in the initial trailer for the game.

Fans replied to the post with “Take my money” and mentioned how the Super Saiyan God form is the best Vegeta form while another fan stated how they can’t wait for the game. One of the fans hoped Bandai Namco would bring a “detailed and thought-out story mode” while most others hoped the next trailer for the game would drop soon as well, so a release date could come to light.

There is still no release date stated on Steam or other platforms for the game, but fans can add the game to their wishlist on Steam to get an update as soon as the game gets released.
