Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel are one of the most beloved couples on the internet. For one that has been together for more than a decade, the pair of actors’ love for each other only seemingly continues to grow as, with each passing year, they celebrate each other all the more.
But just like every other love story, Timberlake and Biel faced quite some ups and downs in their relationship too.
This includes the time the Friends with Benefits star was accused of cheating on his wife of more than a decade with Alisha Wainwright, who was one of his co-stars from his 2021 thriller-drama, Palmer.
Yet, the pair ostensibly got over that as well after Timberlake apologized to his wife for making a “strong lapse in judgment.” …until recently.

Justin Timberlake Apologized To Jessica Biel But Denied Affair Rumors With Co-Star
According to reports by The Sun in November 2019, Justin Timberlake was spotted getting cozy with his co-star Alisha Wainwright at a bar in New Orleans during a night out with the Palmer cast.
As per the video and images captured, the actor drank heavily to the point where he couldn’t even stand straight. This was followed by him initially putting Wainwright’s hand on his knee, who then began stroking it, and then eventually holding her hand.
Timberlake was also seen notably without his wedding ring throughout this entire process where the pair were seen “smiling and laughing.” This ignited a lot of cheating rumors and speculation about the Trolls Band Together star.
However, soon after, these rumors were slammed down by none other than the singer himself in the apology note he took to his Instagram handle to post. Addressing the “recent rumors that are hurting the people I love,” Timberlake wrote:
“A few weeks ago, I displayed a strong lapse in judgment — but let me be clear — nothing happened between me and my co-star. I drank way too much that night and regret my behavior. I should have known better.”
Continuing, he then addressed how terribly his mistake that night has affected his family all the while apologizing to his wife Jessica Biel for the same.
“This is not the example I want to set for my son. I apologize to my amazing wife and family for putting them through such an embarrassing situation, and I am focused on being the best husband and father I can be. This was not that.”
He then ended the heartfelt note by claiming that he is “incredibly proud” to be working on Palmer.
Soon after, the pair had seemingly reconciled as Justin Timberlake welcomed his second child with Jessica Biel a little over a year in January 2021.
Yet, that situation doesn’t seem to be holding on for too long, considering the rumors of late about the pair contemplating a split following the recent controversy the singer has faced after Britney Spears‘ memoir release, The Woman in Me.
Justin Timberlake And Jessica Biel May Not Be Going As Strong As Ever
Although Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel may have gotten over the one drunken mistake that the actor committed almost half a decade ago, the Candy star seems to be running out of tolerance with her husband as recent rumors claim the pair may be contemplating a divorce.
This comes after the release of Britney Spears’ memoir The Woman in Me in 2023, which revealed one too many gruesome details about the singer’s relationship with Timberlake way back in the early 2000s, which has further put the actor under much controversy and backlash.
After all these allegations about Timberlake in the memoir, reports are claiming that Biel is unable to move past the way her husband treated his ex, i.e. Spears, even after undergoing multiple couples therapies.
Adding to this are reports from an insider (via Life & Style) that the pair is apparently “getting their finances in order,” which only further hints at another possible divorce story of yet another one of Hollywood’s power couples.
Though nothing has been confirmed yet, fans are only hoping that just like every time before, Justin Timberlake and Jessica Biel will get over this as well, and continue to grow and develop with love for each other.
