While there was pin-drop silence, Shawn Levy, the director of the show mentioned that the production of the 5th season will take place once the strike comes to an end, and the Duffer Brothers have been working extremely hard.

As it stands, the 5th season of Stranger Things doesn’t have an official release date, but the way things are progressing, it looks like the film willn’t be released before the 2nd half of 2025. Hence, it would be quite appropriate for the show to be released on Halloween, fitting the occasion and concluding its story.
