Game of Thrones star Thomas Brodie-Sangster has been a part of the film industry ever since he was very young. He has gone on to star in some very well-known, critically acclaimed projects outside the HBO hit series, like Star Wars: The Force Awakens, Nowhere Boy, and The Queen’s Gambit. It is no surprise that the actor has gone on to do such great things because he acted alongside big names when he was barely a teenager. The perfect example of this would be that of the 2003 film, Love Actually, where he was only thirteen years old.

Upon hearing that they did not, in fact, have a permit, one of the crew members was told by the police that they were going to get arrested. Sawyer, upon learning this, joked a bit, questioning if this could actually be a possibility. She told the actor that this was the part where they ran away from the police.

“Liam was amazing. He treated me like his son,” said the Game of Thrones star. “He was absolutely loving to me. He just created this environment where I was very comfortable. At the time I thought, you know, I was pretty much a grownup and I’d been doing this a few years now and I knew what I was doing. I was very serious about it. But looking back, I’d forgotten how small and new I was.”

Game of Thrones star elaborated on this, stating that Neeson was extremely loving on set. He helped create a very comforting environment for someone that young being on a project that big. The actor concluded by claiming that he thought back then that he knew exactly what he had been doing. However, looking back at the experience, he is well aware of how naive he could sometimes act, and how important Neeson’s guidance proved to be.
