Deadline reported that a new addition to the hit action franchise is currently in the works. The outlet mentioned that All Quiet on the Western Front director Edward Berger is in talks to helm and develop the movie.

The insiders shared that nothing much has been revealed yet adding that not even a script has been written given that the movie is still in its early development. They added that the iconic CIA assassin actor will be approached to return to the movie once the script is written for that project. With that, Damon does not commit to the project until everything is set in place.

As for what lies ahead for the actor in the Ocean’s franchise, it remains a mystery but the franchise is still going strong. The franchise was rebooted in 2018 with Ocean’s 8 featuring all-female protagonists. Not just that, the franchise continues to expand as an untitled Ocean’s Eleven prequel is currently in the works starring Margot Robbie and Ryan Gosling.
