Following the previous episode’s shocking revelation of Sabo’s survival after the Lulusia Kingdom tragedy, fans are eager to uncover the real story behind King Cobra’s murder. In One Piece episode 1117, the Flame Emperor reveals classified information about the Mary Geoise invasion to Monkey D. Dragon and Emporio Ivankov.
While the identity of the secret ruler of the One Piece world remains just out of reach, the recent episode featured two iconic Marine Admirals, Ryokugyu and Fujitora, in action.
Iconic Marine Admiral Fujitora Leaves One Piece Fans Disappointed in Latest Episode
Eiichiro Oda introduced Fujitora during the famous Dressrosa Arc when fought against Luffy, Law, and the Revolutionary Army. Fujitora is one of the most feared Marine soldiers who left fans awe-struck by his devil fruit’s immense strength. He was the first admiral to encounter Luffy’s crew after the time skip and helped Oda-sensei restore the Marines’ reputation among fans, which had been tarnished after orchestrating Ace’s execution.
Owing to his immense strength and the impressive ability to summon meteorites, Fujitora quickly became a fan favorite after his introduction. Fujitora is well-liked by One Piece fans for his strong sense of justice to discern right from wrong, even while remaining loyal to the Marines.
Unfortunately, fans were left disappointed by Fujitora’s latest development in episode 1117. Despite being a terrifying figure in Dressrosa Arc, Fujitora didn’t take center stage in the latest OP episode.

However, the Revolutionary Commander couldn’t overpower our beloved Marine Admiral as Fujitora swiftly neutralized Karasu’s attacks with a single stroke, demonstrating his immense strength.
Why the God Valley Incident Deserves an Adaptation
In the world of One Piece, there was one prominent figure who ruled over the seas before the Pirate King Gol D. Roger came into power. Rocks D. Xebec was a prominent figure four decades ago and the captain of the Rocks Pirates. Shockingly, Oda-sensei described the Rocks Pirates as the strongest crew in One Piece‘s pirate lore.
Monkey D. Garp and Roger formed an ultimate alliance to take down Rocks D. Xebec, in what became known as the God Valley Incident. With the recent OP episode, Garp’s signature attack, Galaxy Impact, astounded several fans and made them curious about his prime days.
The only time when Oda sensei focused extensively on Marine Hero’s strength was during the God Valley incident. Garp earned his title of ‘Hero of the Marines’ after crushing the Rocks Pirates in the God Valley Incident, forcing the strongest pirate crew to disband. Not to forget, the result of the battle left God Valley sinking into the ocean and Rocks’ defeat.
The Rocks Pirate crew included some prominent figures such as Big Mom, Kaido, and Whitebeard. With the addition of Big Mom and Kaido, fans were always left curious about the crew’s immense strength. Although Oda-sensei only gave a brief description of the God Valley incident in the anime, fans are dying to witness the clash of legends on big screens.
