Rock of Ages was about a girl from a small town (played by Julianne Hough) who travels to LA with hopes of making a name for herself. Alec Baldwin acted as a club owner. Director Adam Shankman in an interview revealed –

“I talked to Baldwin and explained the whole thing to him that his character is a guy from the 60s who owns this rock club. He has nurtured many with his influence and is a complete stoner who later realizes that he had been gay.”

Baldwin was completely sold on the story and said, “That is amazing, count me in!” Although he had been excited about Rock of Ages, he later revealed what a complete ‘disaster’ the film was during its shooting. As the director revealed that he sent the actors to multiple locations (including a rockstar college) to shape their characters and prepare them for the film, it was all a ‘mess’ according to the actor.

Controversy Surrounding Alec Baldwin’s Rust

Alec Baldwin’s Rust revolves around an outlaw in 80s Kansas who sets out to save his grandson while he faces a death sentence for an accidental murder. Well, isn’t this what happened in reality too?

According to Baldwin, he had mistakenly fired a live round from a prop revolver he was given on the set, killing the film’s cinematographer Halyna Hutchins, how tragic! The film got suspended as he faced a court trial for nearly two years.

Extremely passionate about a great story since the little guy was 8. He has lived through nothing short of almost 300 of Hollywood's finest pieces of work, and is now creating some of his own here at FandomWire. He loves to make time for a good book and a good meal.
