Players of Helldivers 2 are always looking forward to a new stratagem, that helps them gain more advantage in the battle. The battles in the game are always chaotic and the enemies always have the advantage so getting any help from teammates or stratagems is always welcome.
With the recent buffs to a few stratagems like mortar, the community is now speculating and trying to find which one will get the buff next. Recently, a player found a drone clip online that inspired the whole community to ask buffs for the Guard dog.
Helldivers 2 Fans Want Buffs for the Guard Dog Next
It’s been over 6 months since the release of Helldivers 2 and the game has faced many ups and downs, to say the least. However, through all these controversies, the game has built a strong and dedicated community that always thinks out of the box, making the gaming experience unique and engaging.
The recent buffs to various Stratagems (tools to use in battle), again started the players’ creative minds and they are now thinking about various interesting buffs which can make the gameplay more fun for everyone. One player found an interesting clip online showing a drone using a flame thrower. After seeing this, the first thing that came to their minds was how interesting it would be if that feature was given to the guard dogs.
This sparked a huge discussion in the community and now players want Johan Pilestedt (Chief Creative Director) to start working on implementing this in the game.

The guard dog is a very good stratagem that helps in clearing waves of enemies. Adding a new guard dog or just giving a new feature like a flamethrower to the dog, will make it even more fun to take down in the battle. Players are asking the developers to add it as soon as possible.

Arrowhead Game Studios is renowned for its ability to bring content in Helldivers 2, that are inspired by player feedback. They have already shown their commitment and dedication towards increasing the player experience. However, now with the rapid decline of the playerbase, they need to take their effort to the next level and highlight that they are willing to grow and adapt.
With the recent updates, developers also showed that are trying to make players forget or divert their attention from all the controversies. But to make the full comeback, the studio needs to start adding various diverse content that showcases the game’s full potential.
