Miyazaki expanded on his response about his favorite games and said the following: “On a very personal level, I would say, first Dark Souls and Bloodborne left a very big impression on me.” By saying this, he was referring to a personal level, not to the company; these games represented something quite significant to him.

On a broader level, when discussing studio favorites, he naturally mentioned Elden Ring as a title that was in a completely different league compared to previous projects. He added the following: “As a company, Elden Ring put us in a completely different league, so that was a huge milestone for the company.” This director is known for being an avid gamer, and when he finds time to play, he makes the most of every second of the games he enjoys.

I'm a big fan of movies and videogames in general. I really love Pokémon and Godzilla. One of my favorite games is The Last of Us, Part II. A compelling and well-written story is always welcome.
