Kisuke Urahara is a former captain of the Gotei 13. After the hollowfication event, he was banished from Soul Society and resided on Earth in Karakura Town. His true potential as a Shinigami was always kept secret. Even though the fans saw his Shikai in the original Bleach anime, they have yet to experience his bankai, Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame.
Kisuke Urahara will use his bankai against Askin Nakk le Vaar, one of Yhwach’s Royal Guard. Grimmjow Jaegerjacquez will aid Urahara during his fight with Askin Nakk le Vaar. If fans compare the anime and the manga side by side, they will find that the fight is almost 140 chapters away from the current position. So, it is pretty well understood that the best is kept for the last.

Kisuke Urahara’s bankai, Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame, is one of the most overpowered bankai in Bleach. Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame takes the shape of a massive woman with black braided hair, red robes, and mannequin hands. It can restructure anything that it touches for offensive and defensive purposes. It also can restore objects.
During his fight with Askin Nakk le Vaar, Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame healed Urahara’s eyes and restructured his hands to strengthen and overpower the Royal Guard. The bankai first cuts up the objects and then stitches them together to make them stronger. It could even weaken the opponent, a positive point for Urahara. Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame can also create a path through barriers or obstacles for others to move through.
The only catch is that after Kannonbiraki Benihime Aratame returns to the Shikai stage, the restored things return to normal. So, Urahara would suffer from the pain if he healed himself. One of the best things about Kisuke Urahara is that he mastered his bankai in three days, unlike other Shinigami, who took a decade or more to master it. He did it through Tenshinatai, an artifact that materializes the Zanpakuto Spirit and allows the user to gain control over it.
Shunsui Kyoraku Has a Grand Bankai Reveal
Shunsui Kyoraku is the Captain of the 8th Division of the Gotei 13 and a student of Genryusai Yamamoto. Just like Kisuke Urahara, his bankai, Katen Kyokotsu: Karamatsu Shinju, is also an overpowered bankai. Upon using it, Shunsui faces his Shikai blades downward and sits down. Black roots-like tendrils emerge from his body and his Zanpakuto Spirit, who happens to stand behind him. The bankai creates an aura around Shunsui.
The aura is dark and gloomy and can cause others to feel different levels of despair and melancholy. Katen Kyokotsu: Karamatsu Shinju can inflict the same wound on the enemy the user suffers and vice versa. It can create black spots on the enemy’s body, which will cause them to bleed out. Then, it will cause the user and the enemy to drown in water and start draining their reiatsu.
The first one to drain their reiatsu entirely will drown, and lastly, Shunsui will sheath his swords, wind a white thread around the enemy’s neck multiple times, and pull it. It will ultimately cause the head to blow up, thus ending the life. Shunsui Kyoraku uses his bankai only when his friends are not around him since Katen Kyokotsu: Karamatsu Shinju can also affect them.
Kenpachi Zaraki’s Unnamed Bankai
After Kisuke Urahara and Shunsui Kyoraku lies Kenpachi Zaraki, who is yet to reveal his bankai. Kenpachi Zaraki is Captain of the 11th Division of the Gotei 13. His Shikai is named Nozarashi, but his Bankai is unnamed. He released his Bankai during his fight with Gerard Valkyrie. In this bankai form, his body becomes red and black markings appear on his hands and face with horns on his head. Upon releasing his bankai, an enormous energy comes out from his body, destroying every structure in its path.
With a crooked cleaver in his hand, Zaraki takes the stance of a beast. In his bankai state, he gains enormous physical and cutting strength. He sliced off Gerard Valkyrie in a single blow, severed his arm, and cut him in half from a distance. All of these Bankai are overpowered and saved for the last. Each one of them is powerful enough to crash the streaming sites.
