Elden Ring is closer than ever to finally announcing the date of its long-awaited DLC. The successful game developed by From Software has sold more than 20,000,000 units since its launch in February 2022. This title is the culmination of the soulslike sub-genre trademark of this team.
Players had been making different builds of characters in Elden Ring, and this one in particular is useful for the whole game. Aiming to use the brute force of its axe, this build is called The Gladiator and goes with any class.
Elden Ring DLC appears closer than you think
Elden Ring was the biggest launch ever in From Software history, and the game is probably one of the most anticipated games of recent years. The title became 2022’s Goty without any doubt on the part of critics and players alike. Software’s game announced back in March 2023, Shadow of the Erdtree, will be the first DLC for the game. From that announcement until today, there has been no new information about this content. Fans are excited and anxious about this new content for Elden Ring.
Thanks to a new update in the backend files of the Steam version of the game, it appears that the DLC is closer than ever. These new files were added today to the Steam platform. Some of these files have the following names: “dev_debug,” “dev_release,” “qa_debug,” and “qa_release.” All may be the meaning of quality to control for this content close to release. For the moment, not much more information about this DLC is available.
From Software has not even talked about the content of the DLC apart from the game. But you can bet that the quality will be the same. The latest project of the studio was Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon, a game that has accomplished more than 2.8 million copies, the most sold entry in the franchise, because of the popularity and reputation that From Software has been working on over the years.
Elden Ring’s Incredible Gladiator build
One of the most interesting things about this build is that it can be used with any class. This build relies on the Ash of War stamp, or upward cut. The chosen weapon is the Highland Axe with the Redmane Shield. The key for the Gladiator is to receive some damage thanks to the Ash of War, go into hyper-armor, and do some critical damage to the opponent. Your attack animation will not be interrupted, and you’ll have more chances to do some real damage.
The Gladiator build has these armors: a rotten Duelist Helm, a rotten Gravekeeper Cloak, Bull-Goat Gauntlets, and rotten Duelist Greaves. With the following talismans: Shard of Alexander, Dagger Talisman, Bull-Goat’s Talisman, Assassin’s Cerulean Dagger, and Millicent’s Prosthesis. To complete this build, you need Vigor, Strength, and Dexterity as primary stats. As for the secondary stats, you’ll need Endurance and a double Mind.
