Replying to the fan he firmly denied the possibility, saying, “No.” This is not the first instance the filmmaker has denied using the song in ng the movie as he has earlier clarified that he would not be using the song in Superman due to its frequent presence in fan-made videos.

“One of the reasons I wouldn’t use it (after being asked hundreds of times to use it for the past ten years in Guardians,” he said, as per ComicBook.com, while responding to fans pointing out the popularity of the song in the fan-made edits.

Additionally, he has also named several other popular songs, that he is being refrained from using in the upcoming film. These songs include Kryptonite by 3 Doors Down, Superman by Eminem, Sunshine Superman by Donovan, Superman by Taylor Swift, and Superman by Goldfinger.

While the filmmaker remains firm in his decision, fans have expressed disappointment with the news, who have been eagerly anticipating the song to be featured in the movie. “He said this a while ago, but I’m sad he didn’t change his mind,” one X (Twitter) user said.
