The Drake-Kendrick Lamar feud has escalated this year as the two rappers went back and forth replying and one-upping each other’s diss tracks. Things have never been the same since the duo collaborated on Drake’s 2011 album Take Care, and ever since Lamar threw shade at Drake in Big Sean’s Control, the two have been feuding over the years.
Things intensified this year as both have now committed to destroying each other’s reputations and careers with the release of their diss tracks simultaneously. With Lamar’s Euphoria and 6:16 in LA going on a full rant mode on Drake’s activities and career, the Toronto rapper has hit back with a more personal attack in his new diss track, questioning the parentage of Lamar’s children.
Drake Hits Back with New Diss Track Family Matters, Makes Wild Claims About One of Lamar’s Kids
After back-to-back diss tracks Push Ups and Taylor Made Freestyle from Drake, Kendrick Lamar recently came back at him with a scathing diss track Euphoria, where he criticized his music, and appearance and even questioned his black-ness due to his costume choices. Lamar released a second diss track titled 6:16 in LA criticizing his OVO crew and for being a bully (via Independent).
In this escalating feud that is not going to end soon, Drake has hit back at Lamar with his new diss track titled Family Matters, where he ridicules significant aspects of Lamar’s personal life. Previously in Euphoria, Lamar criticized Drake for not being a role model to his kids and not knowing how to be a father. He said (via Guardian),
“I got a son to raise, but I can see you don’t know nothin’ bout that.”
Drake seems to have taken this personally and Family Matters features a wild claim about one of Lamar’s kids in his new track. In between the 7-and-a-half-minute song, Drake claims that one of Lamar’s kids is allegedly not his but of his creative partner Dave Free. Drake says (via Billboard),
“Your baby mama captions always screamin, ‘Save me’/ You did her dirty all her life, you tryna make peace/ I heard that one of them lil kids might be Dave Free’s/ Don’t make it dave freeze/ Cause if your GM is your BM secret BD,”
Fans were shocked by this damning allegation made by Drake about Lamar’s children. Some believed that the Toronto rapper had gone off the rails and opened a Pandora’s box that would further make this feud uglier. Here are some of the reactions on X,
He just opened the Pandora box, only God knows how evil Kendrick’s next track is gonna be

Drake goes even further even alleges that Lamar’s fractured relationship with his fiancée Whitney Alford is due to his infidelity, saying “You the Black messiah wifing up a mixed queen…On some Bobby sh–, I wanna know what Whitney need”. Lamar answered back swiftly with his track Meet the Grahams where he continued ranting on Drake’s inability to be a father to his son Adonis.
Kendrick Lamar Shows No Mercy As He Eviscerates Drake’s Existence in Meet the Grahams
Hours after Drake dropped his diss track Family Matters, Kendrick Lamar hit back with a new diss track titled Meet the Grahams. The title is a reference to Drake’s family name Aubrey Drake Graham. In the song, he completely destroys Drake’s personality and his parental abilities, by mentioning his son Adonis, and his parents Sandra Graham and Dennis Graham.
Lamar had harsh words for Drake’s parents pointing out how they had the nerve to conceive and raise such a horrible person like Drake who’s a sick man with sick thoughts. Lamar also mentioned Drake’s son Adonis and expressed pity for him for being Drake’s son, while calling him an unresponsive parent. He said (via Pitchfork),
“Dear Adonis, I’m sorry that that man is your father, let me be honest It takes a man to be a man, your dad is not responsive. “Dear Sandra, your son got some habits/I hope you don’t undermine them. “You raised a horrible fu*kin’ person/The nerve of you, Dennis. Your son’s a sick man with sick thoughts”
The two rappers are going all out unfiltered, even invading each other’s personal lives to destroy one another. The duo’s latest responses (Family Matters and Meet the Grahams) have been the most shocking, with Drake putting out some wild claims about Lamar’s kids and Lamar criticizing Drake’s parents for giving birth to him. This feud is going to get uglier and nastier, with no end in sight.
